The pentacle here is built out of the landscape itself. Winter trees and their roots form the five arms and the ring around them, a crescent curves along one side, and a small spired tower stands among pines at the center. Two birds break away from the top of the circle. Ink splatter runs off the lower edge like a wash that got away from the artist. Solid black, no color anywhere on it.

Quiet enough for an altar, a Samhain table, or a bookshelf that stays dark most of the year. With no smoke and no open flame it can sit close to dried herbs or paper. The remote sets flicker, brightness and a timer of 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours.
