A young witch turns her face to the left in profile, cheeks flushed, lips parted, a fine chain at her throat. The hat is wide, black and slightly slouched, with burnt-orange oak leaves caught on the brim. Her hair is dark auburn and blows across her shoulder in loose strands. Her earring is a single small drop, catching the same grey as the moon.
A black cat sits at her left with two flat yellow eyes, half in shadow. A carved pumpkin glows at the bottom centre. Behind everything a pale grey moon rises through bare stalks and thin branches, and orange maple leaves are scattered across the lower rim of the disc. Two mounting holes are punched through the upper rim.
Warm skin tones against cold grey give it more depth than the usual orange-and-black print, so it holds a hallway or a mantel rather than only a party wall. Good for the friend who starts decorating on the first of September and does not apologise for it.
