The fire is set in snow.

Snow-laden firs stand at both edges, small lights caught in the branches. In the middle a Yule log burns on the drift with real orange flame, and the snow around it glows.

A brass chalice, red and teal candles, small wrapped parcels, pine cones, dried orange slices, holly and red berries are laid out around the fire. Above, a silver triple moon is dressed with holly and berries, the full moon cratered in the centre, a crescent at each side. The sky is deep blue and star-thick with a small moon top right. The blessing reads: "May the rebirth of the Sun bring peace and joy to all."

This is the December piece: over the knees at the solstice vigil, on the guest bed, or on the sofa through the darkest weeks. It gives a Pagan household something to put out instead of a nativity, and it stays right well into January.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
