A white wolf's head fills the centre, snarling: lips drawn back, teeth and pink tongue showing, eyes narrowed to slits. The fur is drawn in long silver strokes that fan out into a wild ruff, and blue fire licks up behind the head.

A small silver ornament sits on the brow between the eyes. Around it runs a heavy dark frame worked with scrollwork and arches, deep blue cabochons set at the four points and along the sides. Navy, silver and steel blue, with every carved detail printed flat. The frame is drawn as pierced metalwork, but nothing is actually cut out; those openings are printed over solid panel.

The angriest piece in this set, and it wants a wall of its own: a garage, a games room, a stair wall where it can be met head on. Cold blues make it read as deep winter, so it carries through Yule and past it. Fair gift for someone who wants a wolf that is not being gentle.
