Violet Moth Quilted Witch Hat – Luna Moth Celestial Wide Brim Hat

A luna moth with an amethyst body, wings open under a silver full moon.

The cone is held by a large luna moth with pale mint-green wings edged in violet, long trailing tails, feathered gold antennae and an amethyst stone set at the thorax, with crescent marks on the forewings and two round pale cabochons below. A silver full moon medallion sits above it among violet flowers and gold constellation lines.

A full moon phase arc circles the brim - silver full moons, crescents and black new moons laid over violet, plum and black panels - with gold four-point stars, clear and amethyst teardrop gems, small violet flowers and a beaded silver edge.

For moth people, night walkers and anyone drawn to violet rather than black. The wide brim stays light through a long celestial evening, a moonlit shoot or a costume party.

• Material: quilted polyester with a padded, stitched texture that holds the cone upright instead of flopping
• Size: one size — brim about 17.5 in (44.5 cm) across, cone about 13 in (33 cm) tall
• All over print: printed on the outside of the cone and both sides of the brim, so the pattern shows whether the brim sits flat or turns up
• Care: spot clean with a damp cloth and let it air dry; do not machine wash or the quilting loses its shape
• Note: made to order. Print placement can shift slightly, seams can move by 2–3 cm, and colours read a little deeper on fabric than on screen
