An oval frame ringed with small raised beads, and inside it the goddess in triple form. The two outer figures wear horned crescent crowns and hold burning torches out to either side; the centre one faces forward in a belted robe, hands folded low. A full moon disc rises behind their heads, and two hounds sit alert at the hem of the robes. The recesses are darkened so the figures and the moon stay bright, and the piece hangs from a plain bail on a fine cable chain. There is no stone and no colour anywhere on it.
This is the classic Hecate plaque, and it wears like one: solemn, a little old-fashioned, right for crossroads offerings, dark moon rites and the run-up to Samhain. It also gives you room to choose how it sits, from a close 18 inch to a long rope.
