A thick, gnarled tree grows up the centre of the panel, trunk twisted like rope and roots spreading forward over the bottom edge of the frame as though they have outgrown it. The canopy is dense green ivy, and a few branches reach out past the picture area on both sides. Behind it a pale moon glows through mist.
The frame is carved wood: plain planks top and bottom, Celtic knotwork running down both sides, pegs at the corners. Orange leaves drift down through the scene and a few come to rest on the wooden ledge below. The background stays soft grey-green, which keeps the eye on the trunk. The wood grain, the knotwork and the roots crossing the frame are all part of the printed image.
The tree of life stands for the link between root and branch in both Celtic and Wiccan practice, and this version is calm enough for a living room or an entryway. A safe gift for a housewarming, or for someone marking a new start.
Material: aluminium sign, fade-resistant for indoor or covered outdoor use
Sizes: 20x30cm and 30x45cm
Care: wipe clean with a dry cloth
Note: the carved wood frame is printed onto a flat panel
The Tree of Life anchors the design around roots, growth and connection. The surrounding imagery supports that larger theme of continuity between nature, ancestry and personal growth.
