A gold dragonfly spreads across the whole disc, four long wings filled with fine tracery and dotted with small green and red stones along the leading edges. The body is segmented gold, a green cabochon set at the thorax, tapering to a point at the bottom of the circle. Two round eyes catch the light, and the wingspan reaches almost to the rim on both sides.
Behind it, dark green leaves fan out in flat panes with garnet beads set between them, two grey roses at the base, every leaf veined in a lighter green, and a gold medallion stamped with a pentacle right under the tail. The panes, beads and metalwork are all printed onto a flat panel.
Green and gold makes it a summer piece - a garden room, a window wall, an altar kept for Litha. Fitting gift for someone in the middle of a change they did not choose, since the dragonfly has carried that meaning for a long time.
