A grey wolf's head comes in from the left in profile, drawn in thick stacked strokes so the ruff reads as layered slate. Its eye is a hard amber slit. Behind it the sky is full sunset, banded orange and gold, with a low sun burning just off the wolf's muzzle and a flock of birds scattering across it.
Below runs a black pine forest with a stream catching the last light between the rocks. The rim is broken stone with ferns and dry grasses growing out of the cracks. The second photo shows the print described as UV ink, waterproof and fade-resistant.
Orange and slate makes it a cabin or porch piece more than a bedroom one, and it holds up on rough surfaces like brick or bare timber.
