The pair splits loud and plain.
One is a proper statement crown: three peaks tipped with black kite-cut stones, thistle leaves and curling vines filling the space between, and a black teardrop hanging at the centre of a flame-shaped scroll. The finish is dark gunmetal with a rubbed, almost pewter sheen on the raised edges. Its partner is the opposite, stripped right back to outline, a lotus or candle-flame shape drawn in bare black metal with a single black teardrop in the middle and nothing else.
Both arrive together, which is the point: the heavy one for Samhain night or a ritual, the plain one for days when a full crown would be too much. The second also reads well with everyday clothes, worn low across the forehead or pushed back. Each band ends in small open loops so bobby pins can hold them in place.
