Raven on Skull Wall Art Gothic Crow Metal Sign

Moths came to the gold.

A raven takes up most of the panel, black feathers laid in heavy overlapping plates, wings tucked, beak long and slightly open. Both feet are locked around a skull below him, talons over the brow, and something dark runs from the skull's teeth down toward the frame. The bone is stained gold and brown, the sockets left in shadow.

Behind them the ground is warm amber, printed with faint sketches and diagrams, and moths of several sizes sit scattered across it. Black baroque scrollwork frames the scene on both sides, and rust runs down from the corner screws. The finish is dark and oily, closer to old oil painting than clean metal, and the relief is printed onto a flat sheet.

This one wants a dark wall: a study, a stairway, a room already painted deep green or charcoal. It suits anyone who keeps bones and feathers on a shelf. A strong Samhain piece, though heavy enough in mood to stay up year-round.
