Everything here is silver, white and black. A witch stands in profile with her weight shifted forward, hair pale as ash blowing back across the panel, wearing a soft floor-length gown that flows out behind her and a tall hat with a drooping tip. She holds up a bare curved branch, and a white cat sits balanced on the end of it, tail down, watching her.

Behind them a crescent moon overlaps a huge full moon, its craters clearly drawn, and six white doves climb away toward the upper left through drifts of cloud and small stars. The night sky is deep charcoal with fine speckling. The whole image is printed onto a flat panel, so the moon texture and the folds of the gown are colour and shading only.
