Moon Witch Gothic Metal Sign Halloween Home Decor

Mid-flight across a rust moon.

The witch is off the ground here, one heeled boot kicked back, riding a long-handled broom straight across the face of a huge coppery moon. Her dress trails behind her in heavy folds and her hair whips forward under a pointed hat. Four bats fly with her, wings spread wide, and the lower quarter of the disc breaks into torn black rock veined with copper, as though the ground fell away the moment she left it. Black and burnt orange are the only two colours in the whole piece.

The torn rock along the bottom looks deep enough to catch a fingernail and does not. It is printed shadow on a flat panel, pre-drilled for hanging, light in the hand and finished to take direct sun without fading.

It reads strongly from a distance, which makes it a door piece: a front door through October, or a shed or garage wall under cover. Give it to the friend who starts decorating for Samhain somewhere around August.
