Sugar skulls in both bottom corners.

A great horned owl sits front and centre in rust orange and steel blue, ear tufts up, yellow eyes fixed straight ahead, talons gripping the top of a carved pumpkin. A pale gold moon fills the sky behind him. Monarch butterflies in orange and bright teal cross the quilt at every size, some no bigger than a thumb. Two sugar skulls sit in the bottom corners, painted with pink and purple flowers, with fat candles burning between them, small gourds and a scatter of dry leaves. The pillowcases repeat owl, moon and butterflies.

Dressed for Halloween without going cartoon, so it can go on in late September and stay through the Day of the Dead. Suits a guest room made up for visitors, and it is a thoughtful gift for someone who marks both of those holidays in the same fortnight.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
