A nebula where the moon should be.

The raven perches on a low branch dead center, wings folded, deep blue-black with a violet sheen along his back. Above his shoulder hangs a moon painted like a nebula — teal and magenta clouds across the face of it, stars scattered around the edge.

Behind that, the forest burns orange with the sun low between the trunks. The border is packed with flowers: orange daisies, magenta blooms, teal leaves and rust-colored branches, all crowding the inner rim. This is the loud one. Nothing is muted, and the contrast between the black bird and the color around him is the entire point.

Best on a wall that can take it — a dark painted room, a studio, a dorm. It works as a Mabon or Samhain piece, but the color carries it through the rest of the year too. Good for someone who already owns plenty of black and grey. It also gives a small room a focal point without needing any extra lighting on it.
