Moths circle the wizard's cat.

A long-haired grey and cream cat looks out from under a slouched pointed hat, the brim wide enough to shade both amber eyes. A round coin badge stamped with a spiral is pinned to the band. Below the whiskers, its ruff falls in a stiff collar over what reads as a robe, all in the same cold grey-green as the ground behind. Fine white whiskers spread wide on both sides, thin enough to read against the dark.

Around the rim, copper-brown branches twist into a wreath scattered with small moths and butterflies - two resting high on the right, a handful more settled low on the left. The stone surface, the twisting wood and the fur are printed to look like carved relief on a flat disc.

Good over a desk, a bookcase or the corner where the cat actually sleeps. The muted colours keep it out of Halloween territory, so it hangs comfortably all year and makes a straightforward gift for a familiar-keeper.
