WITCH runs across the middle in chunky white capitals, painted rough so the letters look hand-lettered onto old board. Everything else is crowded flowers: pink cosmos, purple spikes, marigolds and small white blooms filling both sides. A pale pink cat sits behind the lettering under a fat yellow crescent, with a stoppered bottle of red liquid on the left and a jar of dark powder beside it. Two pumpkins, one orange and one pink, sit along the bottom.
It is flat printed artwork rather than a carved effect, in warm slightly faded colour, like a painted enamel plaque. Holes are punched top and bottom.
Bright enough for a kitchen, a craft room, or the door of a herb cupboard. The pink and the flowers pull it away from gothic and toward cottage witch, which makes it easy to hang where the whole household sees it.
