Eight moons ring a gold sun compass, and every one is named: new moon at the top, waxing crescent, first quarter, waxing gibbous, full moon at the foot, then waning back around. The full moon is the brightest thing on the flag, craters picked out in grey and violet.

Waning phases run down the left side, waxing down the right. Purple and indigo nebula fills the ground, small crescents mark the corners, a pale crystal points up from the lower border, silver botanical line work frames the edge, and the bottom reads Every Phase Has Its Magic.
