Gothic Style Witch Relief Wall Plaque For Halloween Home Decor

Marble pale, or matte black.

A small upright plaque, a scrolled leaf border round a recessed panel, and leaning out of it a witch modelled from the shoulders up. The hat does most of the work: a tall crumpled crown folding over on itself and a wide soft brim that dips low over one eye. Under it, a long hooked nose, a heavy jaw, a grin with the cheeks pushed up, and hair in straggling ropes across both shoulders. Brim and nose break forward past the border, so the head sits proud of the frame.

Two finishes. Marble is a pale stone grey, flecked and chalky, which throws the face into soft relief. Black is flat and unlit, and reads as a silhouette until you stand close.

Small enough for a bathroom wall, a kitchen shelf or the side of a bookcase. A gift for the friend whose Halloween box never quite goes back into the loft.
