Gothic Owl Quilt Bedding Set for Halloween

A horned owl fills the middle of the quilt, feathers worked in rust orange and steel blue, ear tufts up, one yellow eye fixed straight out. His talons grip a jack-o'-lantern lit from inside, the carved grin throwing light up onto his chest. A pale full moon sits behind him with bare branches across it.

Monarch butterflies drift in from both sides, and two skulls sit low in the border, each one covered in fine knotwork engraving. Candles burn beside them, a spiderweb stretches across the top right, and orange blooms fill the foot. The pillowcases repeat the owl and his moon.

This is the loudest design of the group and it wants a plain headboard and quiet walls beside it. Good on a bed dressed from late September onward, and an easy gift for a birder, or for anyone who already keeps owls on every shelf.
