Fall Thanksgiving Pumpkins Scarecrow Tablecloth Witchy Halloween Table Decor

Patchwork look, no stitching.

The print imitates a pieced quilt: squares of orange gingham, brown plaid and cream check set against panels of photographed harvest. Scarecrows in straw hats and patched coats stand in several of them, arms out on their crossbars. Others hold carved pumpkins on hay bales, loose corn stalks, drifts of maple leaves and the odd butterfly resting on a stem. A few squares go almost black to break up the run of orange. The seams between blocks are printed too, right down to the faint stitch line, so from standing height it passes for real patchwork.

This is the autumn cloth rather than the Halloween one: it carries a Mabon table through to Thanksgiving dinner without a single skull on it. Useful if you host relatives who like the season but would rather not sit down to skulls. The colours are warm enough to make a cold dining room look lit, and busy enough to hide a spill until wash day. Eight sizes are cut, including a narrow one that suits a hall console rather than a dining table.
