This one is a close portrait. She fills the disc from shoulder to hat, head turned in three-quarter profile, chin raised, eyes half closed. Her hair moves in long polished waves that curl back on themselves at the edges of the circle.

The hat brim sweeps wide and drops low over one eye, banded with a small ornamented strip. Fine chains and a tiny pendant hang at her throat, and the bodice is covered in scrolling filigree. Six-pointed stars sit around her head against a rough, pitted dark ground, and the whole thing is coloured like tarnished bronze and old silver. Two mounting holes are punched through the rim, top and bottom.

The finish is closer to a cast medallion than to a poster, so it sits well on a picture rail with framed art or over a dresser. Good for someone who wants the witch on the wall to look expensive rather than seasonal. Nothing in it is bright, so it sits quietly against a coloured wall.
