Spiders hidden in the scrollwork.
A low tiara built from curling vine scrolls, open all the way through, so it sits lighter on the head than its width suggests. Black faceted stones stand up along the top edge in two shapes, long teardrops and slimmer marquises, alternating as they step down towards each ear. A second row of small round stones follows the bottom rail.
Worked into the scrolls are the details you only find close up: two small spiders in the openwork either side of the middle, and a scatter of tiny flower rosettes between them. The metal is antiqued grey rather than flat black, and the stones read as jet against it.
Made for a costume, but low enough for a gothic wedding or a Samhain dinner without reading as fancy dress. It suits hair worn down or in a loose half-up twist.

- Sizes: one size, listed at 6.3 by 2.8 inches, curved to sit across the crown of the head
- Care: keep it away from hairspray, and wipe with a dry cloth before it goes back in the box
- Note: each end of the band finishes in a small loop for pinning in place, and no hair pins or combs are listed with it
