A witch strides across the disc in profile, pointed hat tipped forward, long copper hair blowing back. Her skirt is the loudest thing here: overlapping panels of violet, crimson, cobalt and black flecked with tiny stars, trailing behind her to the ground. A staff runs down through her hand.
Behind her a huge moon glows gold and orange, cracked into leaded segments. The rest of the sky is deep teal mosaic set with yellow stars and a few round jewels. A small cauldron simmers at the lower left with purple light rising out of it, and wildflowers in pink, orange and yellow crowd the right edge. A bronze rim closes it off. The lead lines and the glass glow are printed, so the panel is smooth aluminium rather than glass.
It reads best where light falls on it, in a hallway, on a covered porch or along a window wall, since the palette does the work. It carries Yule and Samhain equally well. A good pick for someone who loves stained glass but not the weight or the price.
