Two knots really, laid over each other. Underneath is a tight circle of woven Celtic braid with a small triquetra worked into each of the four points. Over the top runs a second witch knot, this one lined the whole way round with tiny clear cubic zirconia, so the outline sparkles while the braid beneath stays quiet and matte. The pendant measures about 24 mm across, roughly the face of a large coin, and hangs from a plain tapered bail on a fine cable chain with an extender at the clasp.

Flat, light and unfussy, it layers well with a longer chain and takes almost no room under a sweater. The witch knot has long been worn as a protection symbol in Celtic and Wiccan practice, which makes this a natural gift for an initiation or a Samhain exchange.
