Fire hair, then frost hair.
Two goddesses share one panel inside a heavy Celtic knot border. On the left the sun goddess: molten orange hair fanning out in rays, a gold circlet at her brow, eyes closed, a small burning sun cupped in her hand. On the right the moon goddess in silver and blue, a crescent rising behind her head, a star field caught in her hair, a pale orb in her palm. A knotted column runs between them with a pentacle worked into it.
A sunflower sits in one lower corner, a white lily in the other, with lavender and leaves crowding the gilded frame. Eight moon phases cross the bottom edge, above the line: Honor the Light and Embrace the Shadow, for they are one within the Goddess.
A throw for anyone who keeps both solar and lunar festivals, from Litha through to the dark half of the year. Give it to the friend whose altar carries a lit candle beside a bowl of moon water.
