A gold crescent takes the left half of the disc with a calm face in profile worked into it, eyes closed, scrollwork curling off the horns. Inside the crescent sits a tree of life in the same gold, branches spiralling out into leaves and small five-pointed stars. The ground behind is a blue sunburst, ribbed like fanned rays, with green cabochons dotted along the outer scroll and two larger stars trailing off the right side.
All of that ornament - the beading, the swirls, the lift under the moon's cheek - is printed to look like carved relief. It photographs like cast brass and hangs like a sheet of aluminium.
Bright and warm rather than gothic, so it works in a living room, a nursery or a sunroom where gold already appears. Good for someone who keeps a moon calendar on the fridge, and an easy solstice gift that does not need wrapping in black. The smaller size suits a shelf; the larger one holds a wall on its own.
Material: aluminium sign, fade-resistant for indoor or covered outdoor use
Sizes: 8x8 inches and 12x12 inches
Care: wipe clean with a dry cloth
Note: the raised, carved look is printed onto a flat panel
The Tree of Life anchors the design around roots, growth and connection. The surrounding imagery supports that larger theme of continuity between nature, ancestry and personal growth.
