Three witches lean in over a black cauldron of green fire. The one in the middle pours from a glass flask and the brew answers with a spiral of light and a scatter of sparks that carries up the whole disc. The two on the outside reach in bare-handed, faces lit from below, green sheen across their eyelids. All three wear the same tall buckled hat. Behind them stands a plank wall of grey barn wood, with a single spider dropping on its thread in the top corner. The grain of the boards shows through the green haze.
The glow is flat printing rather than any light source, and the raised look of the cauldron rim is printed onto the panel as well.
A coven piece: it belongs by the kitchen door, over a work table, or wherever you actually brew. Right for a Samhain gathering and easy to keep up afterwards. An obvious gift between three friends who call themselves one. The single 8x8 size keeps it close to eye level on a shelf.
