One tree grows up the centre of the disc, and its crown and roots together trace the curve of a yin-yang. The left half is cool: a blue sea under white cloud and a field of stars. The right half burns, a sunset in reds, golds and deep orange with the leaves turning to match and the water below catching the same fire.
A small yin-yang sits in each lobe, one inside a blazing sun, one in the dark among the stars. Roots braid down through the lower half and finish the circle. A gold ring holds it together, and a wide band of swirling violet, blue and pink work runs from there down to the hem, worked with small eyes, spirals and hidden faces.
This one is not seasonal at all. It suits a balance or Ostara altar, a meditation table, or a reading nook that stays out year round. A good gift for someone drawn to Tree of Life imagery rather than to anything Halloween.
