Blue eyes meet green eyes.

Two cats curl into a single circle. The white one takes the left, blue-eyed, its fur drawn in long ribbons with fine gold filigree curling through the ruff and down the tail. The black one comes in from the right, green-eyed, its coat traced with the same curling line work in cold teal. Their foreheads meet at the centre.

Each body sweeps round to fill the other's space, so the tails close the ring and the pairing reads as a yin-yang before you notice it is two animals at all. Gold flecks scatter the outer rim. Nothing here stands proud of the surface: the fur, the filigree and the depth in the curl are printed onto a smooth aluminium disc, punched top and bottom for hanging.

It works over a doorway, in a meditation corner, or wherever you want a balance symbol without a formal taijitu on the wall. The palette is only black, white, gold and a little teal, so it suits almost any room. Good for a household with one cat of each colour.
