Black Raven Wall Hanging Gothic Crow Wall Art

This one is painted rather than sculpted. A black raven stands on the splintered top of a broken fence post, its wing streaked with hard strokes of red, the head turned in profile against a ground of amber and burnt ochre. Ink-black branches spread behind it like cracks running through glass, and dark roots twist below the post in a knot of red and brown. Splashes and drips of paint run through the whole panel, right out past the edges of the picture.

The brushwork, the drips and the scratched-back texture are all part of a flat print. The surface itself is smooth aluminium, not raised paint and not canvas weave.

It wants a plain wall and some room around it, the way a stretched canvas would. It suits a studio, a home office, or the wall over a record player, and it makes a gift for someone who reads the raven as memory and prophecy rather than as a Halloween prop.
