The whole scene is one color, black, laid in flat cut layers over a warm amber sky. A raven stands at the center on a low gravestone, feathers stacked in broad plates, beak closed, chest full.

Four more crows move around it: two above the moon, one at the left with wings spread wide, one small and far off. A thicket of bare thorny branches climbs the entire circle, and a pale full moon sits just off center behind the bird. Crosses and stone markers show through the tangle at the bottom, half swallowed by grass and leaves. Each layer casts a shadow onto the one below, which reads as real depth from a distance but is printed onto a single flat panel inside a plain black rim.

With only two colors it stays graphic from across a room, which makes it a strong porch or front-door sign through October. Indoors it works over dark paint. Give it to the friend whose Halloween decorating is more silhouette and less fake blood.
