Gold leaves ring the moon.

A black cat sits square on a bough at the bottom of the panel, tail curling down over the bark, both ears up and yellow eyes fixed on you. Behind it hangs a full moon the color of old brass, its craters pressed in deep enough to catch the light from one side.

Thin branches run up both edges and across the top, each hung with small gold leaves and buds, closing the scene in like a window frame. The cat is the only true black in the piece — coat brushed in long strokes, a fine gold chain at the throat. Everything else sits in gold and grey. The relief is printed onto a flat aluminium sheet, so what looks hand-modelled from the doorway weighs almost nothing on the hook.

Portrait shape, made for a narrow wall: beside a door, at the top of the stairs, over an altar shelf. It reads gothic without reading Halloween, so it can stay up all year. An easy gift for someone whose black cat rules the house.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
