It wraps, it does not close.

An open band shaped like a bent spoon handle. One end widens into a rounded paddle and carries the tree: a slim trunk splitting into branches that fan out to the edge, small leaves cut individually, roots twisting down below. The ground behind is darkened and roughly stippled, so the pale branches stand off it.

The other end tapers to a narrow strip carrying a Celtic plait, also darkened between the strands. The two ends run past each other rather than meeting, which is how the ring adjusts. A scalloped border finishes the wide end, and S925 is stamped on the inside of the band, visible in the photographs.

It sits best on the index or middle finger, where the wide paddle has room to lie flat. A gift for anyone who works with Yggdrasil, with ancestors, or with trees generally.
