The panel is cut to the outline of a witch's hat, tip curled over to the right. The cone is a mosaic of blue, slate and violet pieces with a gold crescent moon set low on the front, and the underside of the brim glows warm amber where the light comes through. Along the brim hangs a close row of small bead drops in green, blue, amber and rose.
A single yellow star charm dangles from the curled tip on a short link, and a silver chain runs across the top for hanging. The leading between the pieces is drawn dark and uneven, the way real solder lines wander, and the panel is cut round the outside of the brim.
Small enough for a narrow window, a bookcase edge or the side of a mirror. The blues and purples keep it from being purely a Halloween piece, so it can hang beside a work altar all year. A safe, inexpensive gift for a secret Yule exchange at work.
Material: printed acrylic panel, hung from the chain fitted at the top
