A witch strides to the right with a long besom held out in both hands, sweeping a trail of gold sparks along the ground. Her robes are emerald and gold, patterned all over with fine paisley and dots, with a lilac and rose cloak flaring behind and a purple hat sprinkled with stars. A small glass vial hangs from the end of the broom handle.

The sky behind is a deep teal night thick with stars, a pale cratered moon just above the horizon and bare trees at either edge. A gold cauldron sits burning at her feet. The disc is framed by a printed band of gold filigree on black. The gilt lines look raised but the panel is flat and smooth.

The teal and gold sit well over a dresser, in a hallway, or above the altar where the besom is kept. It carries enough colour to hold a large wall on its own. A good gift for a Yule or Imbolc exchange, especially for someone who takes the ritual sweeping seriously.
