Under a flat shelf sits a panel of church front: one tall lancet window in the middle under a steep gable, a narrower window each side, slender shafts between them, and pinnacles rising along the top. The panel comes down to a single point at the bottom, with a small arched motif set just above it.

The shelf above is a plain board with a lipped front edge and a block at each end, deep enough for a votive and one or two small pieces. It is one matte black from the shelf down to the point, and the windows are cut as shallow recesses rather than pierced through, so no wall shows behind them.

Good over a desk, in a hallway, or beside a door as a landing spot for keys and a candle. It reads as architecture rather than seasonal decoration, so it can stay up from Samhain through to spring without looking left over.
