Collection: Gothic Rugs

A rug sets the floor of a room and almost nobody treats it as a decision. Our gothic rug collection covers dark area rugs in round and rectangular shapes.

Designs include pentacles, moon phases, ravens, tarot spreads and ouija layouts, mostly on black or deep charcoal grounds. A round pentacle rug in particular works as a ritual surface as well as a floor covering.

Sizes are listed on every page. Measure the space first, because a rug that is slightly too small makes a room look smaller rather than larger.

These witchy area rugs hold up to ordinary foot traffic and vacuum normally, which is not true of every printed rug in this niche.

A dark rug also does something useful to a room: it drops the light level at floor height and makes everything above it read warmer.
